Differences Between Standard and Compact RTD Assemblies

The tried and true RTD assembly, with the variety of configuration options, works well for most applications. Options for process connections, connection head materials and electrical termination make them the go to solution for many uses. Tel-Tru standard RTD probe assemblies are designed for precision temperature measurement in demanding industrial or sanitary environments. RTDs are configurable with many options to meet the needs of dairy, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical processing applications.

What about applications where the standard RTD assembly just won’t fit?

For installations where space is a premium, the Tel-Tru Compact RTD may be the best alternative. With the built in transmitter, it provides the same reliable and accurate 4-20mA output as the traditional RTD assembly, but in a much more compact package. The smaller envelope is ideal for compact skids, systems in tight enclosures and compact brewing systems.
